Walking around the halls of Oneida, you will see some interesting signs outside teachers' classrooms. The signs, titled "#ObserveMe!", can be prominently seen outside the classrooms of teachers Rick DeCarr and Nicole Hannon. DeCarr, a Grade 6 ELA/SS teacher, and Hannon, Grade 8 ELA, are leading the trend in being self-reflective and seeking peer review on targeted areas.
By scanning a QR code on the sign, reviewers can access a Google Form that can be filled out to give teachers instant feedback on areas that they deem as an area for growth.
Mr. Farina, Oneida principal, is extremely supportive of the idea and hope it grows organically to other parts of the building.
